Terms & Conditions

General
Should any patron at Sea Salt have any special dietary requirements, we are more than happy to accommodate such requests. Please advise when booking.
If payment is made by Amex a 3% surcharge will apply.
Children are to be supervised at all times and be considerate to other patrons in the restaurant.
Celebration cakes are allowed to be brought. The Sea Salt team is happy to cut and serve the cake for you with ice cream & berry coulis. An additional $3.50 per person will apply. Please advise when booking. We are also happy to organise a cake for you, please give 5 days’ notice for this service.
Sea Salt is fully licensed and does not allow BYO
Bar: Sea Salt does not offer a 'pay as you' go system for drinks and beverages unless previously arranged.
Gift Certificates are to be redeemed on or before their expiry date.

Alcohol & Guest Conduct

Sea Salt practices the responsible service of alcohol.
Where there is a group booking organisers are responsible for the behaviour of their guests and will assist management in resolving any situations including the harassment to staff or other guests. We will require you to appoint a responsible service of alcohol contact within the event to assist management in the liaison with guests in the event that responsible services of alcohol issues arise during the event.
Otherwise, Sea Salt reserves the right to refuse service and/or eject patrons where they are behaving inappropriately.
The Liquor Licensing Act prohibits our staff from serving alcohol to persons under age or persons we believe to be intoxicated. In the event that a function being closed or a person is ejected the police will be contacted to escort guests from the premises and there will be no refund provided as a consequence.

All groups bookings for & over 20 guests.

To Secure a Date: A 20% deposit is required to secure a date and the venue. We will hold a verbal confirmation for two weeks from the time of booking. However if no deposit has been paid you will not be notified if someone else wants to book that day and pay their deposit.
It is our policy not to split bills for tables within a function group. The balance of the payment must be made on the night of your function. If you cancel the booking we will only refund any deposits as long as another booking is secured for the same date.
Minimum number of guests & confirmation of guests (adults) apply 3 days prior to date of function. If numbers drop below this then the client is obliged to pay for the minimum or confirmed number of guests (includes any decoration packages, food and  beverage costs per person).
Booking Times: The recommended time to book a function or group is 6.30pm. From experience, people never show up all together or all on time. A 6.30pm start time allows for the late comers to arrive and gives guests the chance to mingle before taking a seat around 7pm
Our function time is for a maximum of 5 hours. We will be calling last drinks at 10 o’clock with all guests to vacate the premises before 10.30pm.
We do not accept any responsibility for damage or loss of goods/materials prior, during or after the function.
Organisers of the function are financially responsible for any charges incurred or damages sustained to the fittings, property or equipment of functions, guests or contractors prior, during or after the function.
Unfortunately refunds due to inclement weather are not possible.
Loss or damage of Goods: We do not accept any responsibility for any charges incurred or damages sustained to the fittings, property or equipment of functions or equipment or Sea Salt guests or contractor prior, during or after the function.
Guests are required not to use throw around glitter or similar products.
Due to Health and safety regulations, venue Licensing: any leftover food or alcohol may not be taken away. 
Packages are subject to change without notice.
Sea Salt is fully licensed & a beverage package is available, or an open tab can be arranged. Sea Salt does not offer a 'pay as you' go system for drinks and beverages unless previously arranged.

Wedding bookings

Bookings are taken all year round, excluding the Christmas peak season which runs from the 20th December through until the 20th January. (unless a minimum $10 000 spend is applied)
Bookings made more than one year in advance please allow for a 5 – 10% CPI increase and a menu restructure
Unfortunately refunds due to inclement weather are not possible.
For a Salt Village green Ceremony or Salt beach ceremony (South Kingscliff beach), A Tweed Coast Council approval is required. Visit www.tweed.nsw.gov.au for information.

VIP Club

Membership to Sea Salt VIP Club Program is free for the first 3 months. Your VIP Membership can then be renewed by filling out a membership renewal form. This will entail an annual $5 administration fee and membership will continue for 12months.
Please allow 7 days processing time for your Sea Salt VIP Card.
Your Sea Salt VIP card is not a debit, credit or charge card, it is non transferable and remains the property of Sea Salt Ristorante Pizzeria Pty Ltd.
Your Sea Salt VIP card is a reward card only and benefits can only be applied upon presentation of the VIP Club Card by the relevant VIP Club Card Member.
10% discount only applies to food only on the relevant member’s bill and has a maximum value of $25.

Your sea salt VIP card is not valid with any other coupons, Take away, Gift vouchers, promotional discounts, in-store offers, nor can the VIP Club Card be used on public holidays. Sea Salt reserves the right to change these terms from time to time and you agree that each time you use the VIP Club Card you accept the terms as existing at that time on www.seasaltristorante.com
Complimentary meal vouchers must be redeemed on the dates specified. Proof of age maybe required.
Priority booking & seating is subject to availability.
VIP prize vouchers must be redeemed on or before their expiry date.
Membership and/or vouchers may be cancelled/void/ refused to individuals by Sea Salt at its discretion, if Membership and/or voucher is deemed to be fraudulent, linked to a fraudulent Membership and/or a Member engages a Sea Salt  employee in a derogatory, harmful, drunken and/or manner otherwise regarded by Sea Salt as highly inappropriate. The Police will also be contacted.
Participation is offered at the discretion of Sea Salt, who has the right to accept or reject any application to participate at its sole discretion.
Sea Salt reserves the right to change the VIP Club Benefits and terms anytime without notice. Terms will be updated our website www.seasaltristorante.com/vip-club.
Each VIP Club Card is valid for one person only and cannot be used by any person other than the Member whose name appears on the VIP Club Card issued.
Sea Salt is not responsible for lost, damaged or stolen cards and a charge will apply for the replacement of any card.
Sea Salt reserves the right to cancel your card without prior notice if they believe you have breached any terms and conditions.
Sea Salt reserves the right to terminate The Sea Salt VIP Club Program at any time by giving you at least 30 days prior written notice in which case you will cease to be able to use and/or participate within Sea Salt VIP Program and Sea Salt Ristorante Pizzeria Pty Ltd shall have no further liability to you.
